What is a composite door?

Built with strength in mind

The very toughest materials are among those used to construct your made to measure Regency door. Amongst the very toughest materials are thermosetting resins which become set after curing, so the reapplication of heat will not reverse the chemical process that created them. Therefore they remain strong, stable and durable whatever the temperature.

A high quality engineered hardwood subframe is constructed to suit each individual door size. This provides strength and dimensional stability. Strong dovetail joints lock everything tightly and squarely together.

The addition of our EdgeGuard™ option further enhances the appearance of the door slab and adds extra protection against damage. Edge detail is fitted in powder coated white aluminium as standard, with brown for woodgrain stain doors.

How long do composite doors last?

According to data from the Housing Association Provident Mutual and the Building Research Establishment, our composite doors are expected to last 3 5 years, if moving parts are oiled yearly.

What colour is the inside of a composite door?

All of our Regency and Classic Range composite doors have a WHITE INTERIOR finish.This will ensure that your door will always be compatible with your hallway. Our Heritage Range of composite doors are available in the same colour as the outside of the door.

All composite doors are ordered online via our unique door designer. The ordering system is clearly laid out and includes all design options and manufacturing parameters to ensure your quote or order can be processed entirely online by you. How much is delivery?

We deliver all our composite doors to anywhere in mainland UK for FREE!

How long will my order take?

All of our composite doors are custom built to your specifications and are UK Manufactured. From the point of order confirmation, doors take 7 working days.
